A Day Trip in Tuscany

We rented a car for a day while we were in Florence and drove along the “Chianti Road” in Tuscany, stopping off at small towns and wineries whenever we felt like it. It feels like a drowsy, golden daydream now, so I’ll just let the pictures tell the story.

If you go, rent a car and take the Chianti Road route from Florence to Sienna. The towns of Castellina, Greve and Rada are particularly charming.

  1. Charming is not strong enough of a word! I want to live in the winery, it’s so beautiful! Although I only went to Venice in Italy, your stories make me miss Europe and all the traveling so much! Thank you!
